Free Therapy CEUs (Updated 04/2020)

(Photo to commemorate my home office where I see clients virtually during this pandemic lol.)

If you're a social worker/therapist, you know the struggle of getting those CEUs without breaking the bank. I have found a few good resources for free CEUs over the years that I wanted to share today. Most of these are specific to eating disorders, but there are a few others as well. Make sure you check with your state requirements on how many CEUs can be obtained online. And, as always, if you know of any websites offering free CEUS, let me know in a comment below as I plan to keep this list updated.

Eating Disorder CEUs with Center For Change:

The Center for Change in Orem, Utah has webinars every month or so that I love to pop in on. They are surrounding eating disorder treatment and are very informative! Check out their calendar here.

Eating Disorder CEUs with Eating Recovery Center:

Eating Recovery Center is another eating disorder treatment center that offers free webinars every month or so. Check out their calendar here.

Eating Disorder CEUs with Center For Discovery:

This is another eating disorder treatment center that offers free CEU webinars from time to time. I can't find a calendar of events for them, but have gotten information via their email list that comes from info@email.discoverybh.com

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with the Medical University of South Carolina:

Ok I don't actually think this one is free, but it is EXTREMELY low cost for the amount of CEUs. I believe it was $35 and you leave with 6 CEUs and knowledge of trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Check it out here.

Trauma Processing Therapy with the Medical University of South Carolina:

This is another training from the Medical University of South Carolina that is free and gives you 6 or so CEUs. Check it out here.

Ethics with Simple Practice:

Simple practice has a few free ethics CEUs right now: social media ethics, documentation, and telehealth ethics. Check them out here.

National Association for Social Workers:

hNational Association for Social Workers:he NASW. Check out the link for Washington's chapter and their free (or low cost) CEUs here.

And that's all I've got for now! Like I said, I'll continue to update this post. So, make sure to let me know of any free or low cost (let's say $10 per 1 CEU) CEU options you know of and I'll add them to the list!
